We are not alone ...

What is it about military procurement, that seems to bring out the worst in public sector inefficiency? Or is it simply that we are more sensitive to disasters in this area – after all, public sector IT continues to gobble up the cash and rarely delivers the goods either. And if you did a number on NHS procurement, you would probably save hundreds of millions, without noticing any difference in the service offered.
